Conor Thaxter, formerly performing as Conor James

I'm a singer-pianist and recording artist based in Los Angeles. For about 10 years I performed and released music under the name Conor James, including a run as a Top 12 contestant on NBC's The Voice in 2025. Everything — performances, new releases, bookings, press — now lives under my full name, Conor Thaxter.

What I’m Up To

I play live piano and vocals for weddings, private events, corporate functions, and residencies throughout Los Angeles and Southern California — from Beverly Hills estates to Malibu cliffside ceremonies to downtown LA rooftops. I cover a wide range of artists, from Stevie Wonder and Billy Joel to Beyoncé, Frank Ocean, and SZA.

My original music blends pop, soul, and R&B. I write and produce independently and through joint projects. I hold a regular residency at Primo Restaurant in South Bay, Los Angeles.
